GLOVERSVILLE — Two city residents were transported to Albany Medical Center with apparent stab wounds Friday morning.
According to a release, police were dispatched to 16 Bloomingdale Ave. at approximately 2:09 a.m. for a report of a fight in progress. An investigation revealed that an altercation had taken place between two of the residents of 16 Bloomingdale Ave. and a group of individuals who had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
While on the scene, officers were advised that two individuals had presented themselves at Nathan Littauer Hospital with apparent stab wounds that appeared to be consistent with the scene at 16 Bloomingdale Ave. Both of those subjects were transported to Albany Medical Center and for evaluation and their condition is unknown.

The GPD was assisted by members of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Gloversville Fire Department.
