BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Senior Citizen Club held its meeting March 22 with 51 members present.
A lotto tree was raffled off at this meeting and the proceeds will be going to the Christmas party fund. Congratulations to the winner, Mary Peck. There was a St Patrick’s Day celebration.  Many thanks to Pat Ives, Nancy Krawczeski, Ruth Lee and Jeannie Ford for all the delicious baked goods.
The trip committee announced the following:
• May 9 — Hyde Park. Tour the Roosevelt home and Vanderbilt Mansion. Enjoy dinner at the Shadows following the tour. The cost is $45.
• June 27 — Sonnenburg Gardens and Luncheon Cruise on Canadaigua Lake. The cost is $60.
• July 18 — Dutch Apple Cruise and USS Slater. The cost is $55.
• Aug. 15 — Alexandria Bay Luncheon Cruise and Boldt Castle. The cost is $60.
• Sept. 10-15 — Biltmore Estate. Six days and five nights exploring Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The cost is $499 per person/double and an additional $149 for single.
• Oct. 21-31 — Panama Cruise. An 11 day, 10 night cruise, leaving from Fort Lauderdale and returning to Fort Lauderdale, will take place. Ports of call will include the Bahamas, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Colon, Limon  and the Grand Cayman. Prices begin at $2,136 and includes air from Albany.
• Nov. 14-16 — The Miracle of Christmas in Lancaster, Pa. Should be a wonderful show at the Sight and Sound Theater. The group will also visit the Kitchen Kettle Village and enjoy a guided tour of the Amish country. The  cost  is $325.00 per person/double/$78 additional for singles.
